Mysskin’s Not So Funny Rape Comment on Mammooty

Maverick Tamil film director Mysskin has always spoken his mind out. But this time he seems to have put his foot in the mouth. While the country is outraged over the serious issue of rape, the Tamil director made some objectionable comments which have not really gone down well with the people.

Mysskin has directed a new film called Peranbu and Malayalam super star Mammooty has acted in the film. Overwhelmed by the National award winning actor's performance in the film, Mysskin went overboard with his adulation. While his praise seemed in order, he went on to say: "You can keep watching Mammooty sir throughout this film. If he had been younger and he had been woman I might have fallen in love with him. Had I been a girl, I would have raped him actually. Such fabulous acting."

Social media, however, took him to the cleaners. Mysskin was trolled and abused for his 'rape joke', because nobody found it funny.
