Let's begin, yeah?

1. Mouna Raagam; Manirathnam is one of my all-time favorite director. God, his movies and dialogues can get even a warring couple back in love. This is one of those classics that's sure to make you fall in love with your partner all over again. Revathy, Kathik and Mohan have delivered their career best performances.

2. Minnale: Who can forget Madhavan play a lovelorn. The film became such a hit that it was dubbed in Telugu as Cheli and also remade in Hindi as Rehna Hai Tere Dil Main. Songs were out of this world and this movie is one of those which gives hopes to those who think it's impossible to fall in love with someone not of your stature. Love has no boundaries and we don't want to tell you this.

3. Kadhalukku Maryadai: A cult starring Shalini and Ilayathalapathy Vijay Joseph. The film was a cult romantic flick which went on to become a blockbuster hit. Ilayaraaja music was a big plus as all the songs were on top of thecharts for more than a year.

4. Kadhal Kothai: Ajith is one of my most favorite actors in Tamil. His looks is to die for and his acting can make any person drool over him. So when I watched him fall in love with a person he has never seen in this film, it reaffirmed my conviction that sometimes it's just not looks but the matching mental wavelength that's required to like a person. If you still haven't watched the film, it's a shame. Go watch it. Devyani has given her best performance too!

5. Sillunu Oru Kadhal: This was Suriya and Jyotika's last movie together before marriage. The film became a huge hit and then followed the disappointment for all their fans that jyotika won't be acting in movies anymore as she was getting married to Suriya. This broke more than a million hearts. And btw don't forget to watch this film for Bhumika, she's a treat to watch in this film! A must watch romantic flick. New York Nagaram song was a rage at that time.

6. Kushi: Again, Vijay and Jyothika created a cult film which was dubbed in every single language in India. I mean it in context! Such a lovely film the magic of which was recreated by Pawan Kalyan and Bhumika in Telugu. A must watch if you ask me.

7. Kadhalir Dinam: Remember the English flick Valentine's Day? So when we are talking of the day of love and don't mention this film then it would be unfair because the film's title means just that-day of love! Featuring the cute looking Kunal and Sonali Bendre, an awesome flick!

8. Ghajini: There have been scores of films on rich guy falling hopelessly in love with a poor girl and losing it completely. This is based on the same line but with a twist. If you haven't watched the film yet, go do it right away because if you didn't know Tamil it's understandable but the film was such a hit that it was made in Telugu as well as Hindi.

9. Alai Payudhey: No matter which film I go to, can't get enough of Manirathnam. None can recreate the magic of love on the screen like he does. Alai Payudhey too was dubbed into Telugu as Sakhi and remade into Hindi as Saathiya featuring Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukherjee. The original featured Madhavan and Shalini. Songs were mind-blowing.

10. Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya: Think romance and Gautham Menon is another name that comes to your mind. This film was even remade in Telugu featuring Samantha and Chaitanya as leads. The Akkineni family recently got the duo married! Sam-Chai's love story actually started on the sets of Ye Maaya Chesave which was the Telugu remake of this Tamil flick. Oh another film of Gautham Menon you shouldn't miss is Yeto Velli Poyindi Manasu starring Nani. Awesome!
