Elderly Passenger Dies in Garibrath Train

Warangal: A passenger died while travelling by the Garibrath Express train here on Tuesday following suspected cardiac arrest.

The deceased has been identified as Kakani Venkata Ramanaiah (55), a native of Chinna Venkatapalem of Prakasham district. He was aboard the G-10 coach of the Nizamuddin-Chennai Garibrath train. However, fellow passengers noticed that he died only after the train crossed Balharshah station and immediately alerted the railway police. The latter removed the body from the train at Warangal station and informed his relatives with the help of a cell phone belonging to the deceased.
