Don’t Trust Coaching Centers: Civils Ranker

Hyderabad: Several coaching centers are using my name for publicity falsely claiming that I have studied in their institution and secured third rank in the Civils examination, UPSC third ranker R Gopalakrishna said.

Addressing the media here on Thursday, he urged the Civil service aspirants not to be misled by the coaching institutions and their claims. He clarified that he did not take coaching from any institution but prepared on his own. "I have prepared for Telugu literature on my own and for General Studies, I took the help of Bala Latha," Gopalakrishna added.

He suggested that students aspiring for Civils should place self-preparation as priority. "Only those who cannot prepare for the examination on their own and need assistance have to approach the coaching centers," he said.
