Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) asked Governor ESL Narasimhan to rein in Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and stop his money-wasting plans like demolition of secretariat.
A delegation comprising TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy, Legislature Party leader K Janareddy, senior leader Shabbir Ali, MLAs and MLCs, went to Raj Bhavan on Monday to submit a memorandum to the Governor. Later, speaking to mediapersons, Uttam Kumar Reddy slammed KCR for trying to waste public money in the name of building a new secretariat. Demolishing a fully functional building only due to Vaastu reasons is ridiculous. He said the building was so strong that it can serve both the states for several more years.
