DJ Arrested For Honey-trapping Men

Mumbai:A disc jockey, who honey-trapped men and extorted huge sums from them, had her comeuppance when she went on live on Facebook from her hideout. The police tracked her down to Jaipur in Rajasthan.

The DJ, identified as 21-year-old Shikha Tiwari aka DJ Adaa, extorted Rs 1 crore from a doctor and had similarly honey-trapped several businessmen in various parts of the country. Her modus operandi is to befriend men and honey-trap them. She would demand huge sums to settle the issue. She trapped Jaipur doctor Sunit Soni on the pretext of a hair transplantation. She went with him to Pushkar, where she filed a rape case against him. The doctor had to remain imprisoned for 78 days. Later, he ''settled'' the issue by paying Rs 1 crore. She duped several other people and then went underground to escape police dragnet.

However, as luck would have it, she went live on Facebook, giving the officials an easy clue to track down her location. The police arrested her and sent her in remand on charges of honey-trapping, extortion and blackmail.
