Digvijaya Singh Draws Flak After Calling Madrassa Of Preaching ‘Hatred’
Hyderabad: Congress General Secretary Digvijaya Singh landed in soup after he equated madrassas and RSS schools of preaching "hatred". Muslim organizations fumed over his remark asking him to retract it.

MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi lashed out at Singh and asked Muslim socio-religious organizations, including the Jamiat-e-Ulama Hind to look into the matter.
“I want him to show me if any madrassa has weapons stashed in it? This is a part of a larger conspiracy which seeks to have no imams, muftis and aalims," said Hafiz Peer Shabbir, Jamiat-e-Ulama Hind, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh chief.
State Minorities chairman and senior Congress leader Abid Rasool Khan too exuded contempt and demanded he should take back his comments as they send a wrong message.
