Depressed Youth Commits Suicide Following Father’s Death

Chittoor: Unable to bear the loss of his father a youth, Jayakumar (28) committed suicide by hanging in Sriramulavaripalle in Kurubalakota in the district, on Thursday.

His father Chalapathi (60) was ailing for sometime and was bed-ridden due to a leg injury. The youth was survived by two brothers who were settled in a nearby village while their mother passed away six months ago. On Thursday, Chalapathi Rao passed away. Unable to bear the loss, Jayakumar committed suicide. According to neighbours, the body of Jayakumar was discovered late and there was no scope of rushing him to a hospital. Police were called-in, who shifted the body for post-mortem and informed his relatives.
