Debate on No Confidence motion begins - Sakshi Post

The debate on the No Confidence Motion moved by the YSRCP against the TDP Government, began with procedural issues on Monday. The ruling TDP objected to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy opening the debate as he was not a signitory to the notice given seeking a debate.

Legislative Affairs Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu argued that the person who moved the motion alone should open the debate. The YSRCP objected to this and said taking up the debate on the same day smacked of a conspiracy. "Not one of the turncoat MLA is present today. This clearly shows that there an attempt to save the defectors from sacking,"YS Jagan said.
After the speaker's ruling that the proponent of the motion should start the debate, deputy leader Jyothula Nehru opened the debate. He said the government has lost the trust of the people and the members in the house. He said the government has been behaving in an irresponsible manner.
After Jyothula Nehru, the legislative affairs minister once again asked the speaker to follow the convention of allowing two ruling party MLAs before allowing a speaker from the Opposition. Later, YSRCP MLA Shravan Kumar spoke against the Opposition and in support of the ruling party.
