Crorepati Mokshesh Seth Renounces All To Turn Jain Monk!

A young chartered accountant from Mumbai, Mokshesh Seth, who own crores worth of property, has turned a monk by joining in the Jain monk community. Mokshesh decided to dedicate his life to the community on Friday at Tapovan circle on Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad road, leaving his parents, brothers and crores worth of assets.

The CA, who is the eldest of the two sons in the family and had an impeccable academic record in his schooling and college. He has secured 93.38 per cent in Class 10 and 85 per cent in Class 12. His family owns JK Corporation, which holds diamond, metal and sugar industries.

Mokshesh said that his desire of turning into monk first came to his mind at the age of 15. But, after his parents convinced him to pursue education, Mokhesh graduated from college and joined as a Chartered accountant in his company. "I made up my mind and began my spiritual journey all through these years. Finally I have announced my decision in January," he said. His parents were shocked when he announced his decision to become a monk and they supported him later, when he announced his plans that he wants to audit the religion.

After joining the community, the other Jain monks asked Mokshesh to stay in the society rather than living along with other monks. Mokshesh's family hails from Deesa in Gujarat and has been residing in Mumbai since 60 years.
