CPM backs YSRCP in fight against TDP's unethical politics

The CPM on Tuesday said that it would fully back the YSRCP's battle against unethical political practices of the TDP Government in Andhra Pradesh. Terming the poaching of YSRCP MLAs by the TDP a serious issue, party general secretary Sitaram Yechuri, he said his party would fight the TDP corruption without any compromise.
Sitaram Yechuri said his party wuld also raise the issue of political defections in Parliament and opined that there is a need to bring amendments to the anti-defection laws.
Expressing shock at the poaching by the TDP, he said this was a threat to democracy and expressed apprehension that the common man might lose faith in the democratic set up.
Earlier, led by YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, YSRCP MLAs and MPs met Sitaram Yechuri at the CPM headquarters and presented him with a book "Emperor of Corruption" giving details of the corrupt practices of the ruling TDP.
Senior leaders Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, Botsa Satyanarayana, YV Subba Reddy, Dharmana Prasada Rao and others accompanied YS Jagan. Earlier, he met NCP chief Sharad Pawar.
