Booked An Airbnb Room? Look For Hidden Cameras

A couple who stayed at a condominium in the US got a shock of their life after discovering hidden cameras in the smoke detectors. The owner of the Florida’s Longboat Key, Wayne Natt, has been arrested on charges of voyeurism.

Derek Starnes, who took the matter to the police, reported that he and his wife found hidden camera each in bedroom and living room. He then shared the picture of him along with his wife staring at the camera.

Interestingly, the couple booked the place through - Airbnb - popular online community marketplace which helps people to lookout for accommodations. After the issue surfaced, Airbnb issued a statement saying ,"We have banned Natt from our community and support our guests. We take privacy issues extremely seriously and have a zero-tolerance policy against this behavior."

Natt told the police of recording sexual activity through hidden cameras, adding, it is done only with consent and it happens only with "swingers" when he doesn’t rent out. Natt has been in this community for past two years and has over 40 reviewers by renters.
