Convene T assembly meet: Congress

The Telangana Congress leaders on Tuesday called on the Governor ESL Narasimhan and apprised him of the the severe power crisis in Telangana state.

Several senior Congress leaders, including Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Jana Reddy, Srinivas, Deputy CLP leaders Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Dr J Geetha Reddy, Mohammed Ali Shabbir and other MLAs called on the Governor.

They sought his intervention in convening the State Legislative Assembly and a Council session to discuss the issues like farmers' suicides, energy crisis and other matters of public importance.
