Constable Leaps To Death While Chasing Thief 

Hyderabad: A 35-year-old Constable had a fatal fall while chasing a suspected thief at Gadwal in Jogulamba district.

After the vehicle was stopped one of the thieves ran away from it and Raghunandan chased him on foot in darkness

Raghunandan, attached to Alampur Police Station, was on patrolling duty on Friday and during vehicle checking he noticed a four-wheeler carrying sheep and moving in a suspicious manner, a senior police official said.

After the vehicle was stopped one of the thieves ran away from it and Raghunandan chased him on foot in darkness. However, he lost balance and fell on the ground near a culvert and died on the spot, the official added.
