Kurnool: Even after organising several workshops and meetings with the TDP party cadre, TDP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's efforts to keep his party men united seem to be going in vain as there is no coordination between the leaders across the state.

This is more evident in Kurnool politics as leaders are resorting to making open statements in an irresponsible manner.

While former minister TG Venkatesh's son exude confidence that the TDP leadership would give him ticket to contest from Kurnool, MLA SV Mohan Reddy is openly making statements that he would get the call from the party to contest in 2019 elections.

In Kodumur Assembly constituency, a TDP leader has issued a dictum saying that the government pension would be given to beneficiaries enlisted by him personally. However, MLA Mani Gandhi took objection to it and said that the he will decide the beneficiaries as he is the MLA in the constituency.

Another TDP leader Tuggala Nagendra recently said Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishnamurthy's photo should not seen on any banner in the district.

This internal fighting is not just confined to Kurnool, but is very common among the TDP leaders in all the districts of the state.

Recently, SV Subbareddy hosted a function for the district TDP leaders at Allagadda town. Bhuma family members too were invited to the function. This event has made minister Akhila Priya insecure as Subbareddy had been openly stating that he is going to contest from Allagadda constituency in 2019 Assembly elections.
