Chandrababu To Support YSRCP-Sponsored No Confidence Motion

Chandrababu Naidu - Sakshi Post

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu finally bowed down to public demand for a no confidence motion against the NDA government.

On Thursday, he declared his support to the YSR Congress Party sponsored no confidence motion to be moved in the Parliament on Friday. The CM made a statement in this regard in the AP Assembly and said that there will be no compromise when it comes to the welfare of the state. The TDP chief is said to have decided to support the no confidence motion after several parties assured the YSRCP of their support. It may be recalled that the YSRCP led by Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has introduced a phase-wise programme to bring pressure on the Central government to grant Special Category Status (SCS) for Andhra Pradesh. The party planned to introduce the no confidence motion on March 21. However, since the Parliament session is expected to conclude much earlier, the YSRCP has changed its decision to introduce the no confidence motion on Friday (March 16) itself.
