Chandrababu meets PM, demands special package

New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who is camping in New Delhi currently, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the issue of giving `special status’ to Andhra Pradesh.

Though it’s not quite clear what transpired in the meeting, sources say Chandrababu requested the prime minister to award a special package to the state and argued that this would address all the issues pertaining to the promises made during the bifurcation, including subsidies and helping the state government in building a new Capital.
