Car Catches Fire After Hitting Electric Pole on ORR

A person was severely injured in a car accident on the Outer Ring Road near Ghatkesar of Medchal District. The car was reportedly heading to Ghatkesar from Keesara. According to the police, the car ran onto the divider and collided with an electric pole. A fire broke out in the car engine and the victim's head was injured in the mishap. He was immediately rescued by a 108 ambulance. Fire service personnel rushed to the spot to douse the blaze.

The police said that the injured person was shifted to Tulasi hospital in the city. The person was identified as Sri Rama Raju of Sivaraopet of Bhimavaram in West Godavari District.
