Budget 2015: Chandrababu unhappy, but at sea on how to tackle Modi - Sakshi Post

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has expressed dissatisfaction over the allocations for the state in the Union Budget, but stopped short of spelling out how he would make the Centre allocate more funds.

Chandrababu Naidu's helplessness was evident when he said he would again seek appointment with the Prime Minister and meet him at a time that is 'convenient' to Modi and explain the plight of Andhra Pradesh. He also parried questions about whether he would take Prime Minister Narendra Modi head on. He also did not specify whether he would allow his MPs to fight the Modi government in Parliament.

Chandrababu also said that there would be no fissures in BJP-TDP friendship. "I would again meet him and explain him our plight," was all that he could say.
A visibly disappointed CM said the Centre has clipped AP's wings and is asking it to fly. He said the allocations to Polavaram Project were meagre and said there were no allocations for the river-linking.
At the same time, he was at pains to explain that he was not on collision course with the Centre. He said he would once again impress upon Narendra Modi to allocate more funds for the State. Union Minister Sujana Chowdary too was guarded in his reaction. He said while the budget was growth oriented, it did not do much for the AP.
