Botsa backs Vijayawada for AP capital

Former minister and former APCC president Botsa Satyanarayana supported the decision of Andhra Pradesh government on making Vijayawada as the new capital of the state.

Speaking to reporters in Rajahmundry on Saturday, he found fault with the way the announcement was made.

“It would have been a nice thing if the announcement was made after a discussion in the state assembly. It is correct on the part of YSRCP to demand a discussion in the assembly on the formation of the new capital of the state. Sivaramakrishnan Committee, which gave its report on the new capital, has no experience in the field,” explained Botsa.
