BM Birla Science Prizes To Be Given Away On December 26

Nobel Laureate Prof. Takaaki Kajita, Cosmic Ray Research Institute, University of Tokyo, will give away the prestigious BM Birla Science Prize (Physics and Mathematics) Awardees for the years 2015 and 2016 to young Indian scientists, at the Bhaskara Auditorium, B.M. Birla Science Museum, on Tuesday December 26, 2017 at 5.00 pm.
Later, the Nobel laureate will deliver the G.P. Birla Distinguished Lecture “Atmospheric Neutrinos and Neutrino Oscillations”. Dr. YVN Krishnamurthy, Director, National Remote Sensing Centre will be the Guest of Honour and Smt. Nirmala Birla, President, B.M. Birla Science Centre will preside over the function.
In this regard Prof. Kajita will address a press conference at the Nobel Room, B.M. Birla Science Museum at 4.00 p.m. prior to the lecture.
