Birthday Bumps: Sachin Tendulkar
Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, who is also referred to as the God of Indian cricket turns 45 today. The former captain of the Indian cricket team had set many records in his career spanning 24 years. One of them is that he is the highest run scorer of all time in International cricket.
The little master was born in a Mahasrashtrian family on April 24, 1973 at Dadar in Mumbai. His father Ramesh Tendulkar is a famous Marathi novelist. Sachin joined the Indian cricket team in 1989 for a match against Pakistan. Bidding adieu to cricket, Sachin played his last match against West Indies in 2013.
It was a great loss to his fans who would wait for his batting in every match. Sachin also received several awards for his contribution to Indian cricket team.
