Bhuma Akhila Priya unanimously elected

Bhuma Akhila Priya, daughter of immensely popular Shobha Nagi Reddy, is certain to get elected Allagadda MLA unanimously. With both the independents in the fray opting out of the contest, her election has become a mere formality. 

The election committee will formally announce the election of Akhilapriya later in the day on Friday.
The election was necessitated following the death of YSR Congress Party leader Bhuma Shoba Nagireddy in an accident. The TDP and Congress parties kept out of the race following the tradition of not putting up candidates if the sitting legislator dies and hir/her kin contests the bypoll.
Speaking to Sakshi TV channel, she recently admitted that she is missing her mother even more now and that stepping into her shoes is not an easy task. Akhila promised to Allagadda people that she will try her best to fulfill her mother's dream.
