Beggar Gets Looted; Given Fake Rs 2,000 Note

Hyderabad: Fraudsters seem to be not leaving even 'beggars'. Of late, a beggar identified as Guravayya was deceived by person who gave fake not of the face value of Rs 2,000.

The incident took place at Hanuman Temple near Krishna Nagar in Hyderabad on Friday. On the occasion of Maha Shivratri, the beggar who sat outside the temple collected coins worth Rs 2,000 till evening. Upon seeing huge change, a person asked Guravyya to give change in exchange of Rs 2,000 note.

Poor Guravyaa fell into his trap and gave away the coins only to get duped. By the time, 62-year-old man realised that the note is fake, the fraudster scooted away from the spot.
