Babu Blames Invigilator, Attender For Class 10 Paper Leak

Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu - Sakshi Post

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu blamed an exam center invigilator and attender for the class 10 science question paper leak.

Speaking on the issue in the state assembly on Tuesday, he termed the question paper issue as malpractice and not paper leak despite evidences provided by the YSRCP to the contrary. Interestingly, the chief minister choose to speak on the issue after the main opposition party YSRCP walked out of the assembly. He said the leaked question paper had the name "Lavanya" on it and an investigation has been launched based on the name, he said. While one invigilator has been suspended action has been initiated on two supervisors, he added.

Giving details about the science question paper leakage, he said the leaked paper first appeared at 10:35 am on WhatsApp in Nellore district. Completely absolving Narayana group of institutions of any wrongdoing in the issue, he said though the question paper leaked at Narayana institution the students who wrote the examination there did not belong to Narayana school. "Officials acted swiftly on receipt of the question paper leakage. Stringent action will be initiated on the guilty as soon as the investigation into the issue is completed," Chandrababu Naidu said.

The chief minister also tried to blame a reporter from 'Sakshi' group for the leakage. He said, the reporter sent a copy of the leaked paper on WhatsApp to the district education officer implying that the journalist was on the wrong. However, Chandrababu Naidu did not answer why would the journalist send the message to the officer if he really wanted to leak the question paper?
