AP Legislative Council Deputy Chairman’s Convoy Hits 2 Constables

In a shocking incident, the speeding car of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council Deputy chairman Reddy Subrahmanyam's convoy hit two constables on duty in Vijayawada on Saturday.
According to onlookers, the VIP convoy did not stop after the mishap. However, deputy chairman later refuted the allegation that he did not stop his convoy after the incident. He admitted that there was indeed a mishap in which two constables were injured.
He said the mishap occurred as the road was narry and added that he had ensured that the injured were shifted to the hospital in a 108 ambulance. The injured constables were identified as K Panduranga Rao of West Godavari and K Ashok Kumar of Vizianagaram.
