Koteswara Rao Is New VMRDA Commissioner

Visakhapatnam: IAS officer Pulipati Koteswara Rao has been appointed as the Commissioner of Visakhapatnam Metro Region Development Authority (VMRDA). State Chief Secretary LV Subramanyam issued orders to this effect on Saturday.

P Koteshwara Rao, is a 2009 cadre and had served as APPSC Secretary, Joint Collector of Kadapa and West Godavari districts was currently on the waiting list. Basant kumar, who was the VMRDA Commissioner earlier had been transferred to TTD as the JEO and the GVMC Commissioner G Srujana was made the In-charge Commissioner of the VMRDA.

Koteswara Rao said that he would work in accordance with the aspirations of the Chief Minister. He said he will work in coordination with the Chairman, public representatives and officials with a mission to lead the company in a non-contentious and transparent manner.
