AP Govt Employees To Get 27 Percent Interim Relief From July 1

Amaravati: Good news to the State government employees of Andhra Pradesh. In a latest development, the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government passed a government order (GO) to provide 27 per cent Interim Relief (IR) to State government staff. This will be in effect from July 1.

It may be recalled that various employee unions' representatives had met AP Chief Minister recently to raise their concerns. YS Jagan had assured them of 27 per cent IR and said that a Cabinet meeting would also decide on the cancellation of contributory pension scheme (CPS). To that effect the government passed a GO to honour promises made to them.

Chief Minister has also reiterated that all the promises made in the YSRCP manifesto Navarathnalu would be fulfilled.
