Yerada Beach Tragedy: Bodies Of Two Victims Recovered

Visakhapatnam: The Eastern Naval Command and Coast Guard crew recovered two more bodies of the six youngsters who had gone missing at the Yarada beach in the port city of Visakhapatnam, on Monday. The bodies were identified as those of N. Ganesh and K. Durga Rao which were shifted to King George Hospital in Visakhapatnam.

The missing youth included D. Vasu, P. Tirupathi, K. Srinivas, N. Ganesh, Rajesh and K Durga Rao.

Inspector of New Port Police station G. Somasekhara Rao said that the Coast Guard and the Eastern Naval Command launched search operations by deploying divers , five boats and a Navy helicopter to locate the bodies . The local fisherman are also assisting them in the search operations. So far three bodies were retrieved and efforts will continue to recover the rest of the other three bodies, he added.
