Don’t Buy Cell Phone With Unemployment Allowance: Nara Lokesh

Guntur: Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Minister Nara Lokesh said that youth should not use the unemployment allowance of Rs 1000 given by the state government to buy cell phones. Reacting to these statements, the youth who were present during the minister's comments, satirically said they intended to go on a pleasure trip to Singapore with the allowance!

Participating in Grama Darshini programme at Mutukuru in Guntur district, Nara Lokesh interacted with people who were beneficiaries of different welfare schemes of the TDP government. Later he criticised BJP for raking up t Rayalaseema Declaration as well as Pawan Kalyan for insisting on separate statehood to North Andhra.

The arrogance of Lokesh was evident when he instructed the media persons, who had gone to cover the event, to sit on the carpet. Though media persons initially resisted, they had to sit on the carpet. Meanwhile, pickpockets had a field day and targeted journalists. They robbed them to the tune of Rs 24,000.
