After Killing Techie, Youth Attempts To Kill Himself Fearing Arrest 

Hyderabad: A 25 year-old youth working as a software engineer in Hitech City attempted to kill himself by slitting his throat on Thursday. Naresh of Lalaguda in Secunderabad who is undergoing treatment at a hospital said he was among four people who killed a techie on December 30. Naresh said they killed the person on the instigation of his friend Deepak but they are trying to make him a scapegoat.

"They are now trying to single me out and incriminating in the murder case," Naresh said and added that all the four of them killed the techie in Mehdipatnam and dumped the body in a lake near Nalgonda. They came to me and asked me to go with them without any clear information. As they are my friends, I just blindly followed them but on reaching Mehdipatnam, they killed that man whose name also I did not know. Pradeep said he was coming in the way of his love affair with a girl and wanted to kill him, Naresh said.

With Naresh's suicide attempt, the mystery in the Lalaguda techie murder case is unraveling. The police are investigating.
