Accused in Drugs Case, Once Again Caught With LSD

Hyderabad: It is said drug addiction is something one will hardly be able give it up. Despite being caught by the police on several occasions many don't tend to mend their ways. On Tuesday, a 23-year-old youngster was caught with 10 blots of LSD and two grams of Heroin near Moulali in Secunderabad.

On a tip-off, the officials of Telangana Prohibition and Excise reached Moulali. The accused identified as Nooka Navyanth was seen loitering near soft-drink manufacturing unit. The officials checked him and found drugs under his possession.

An engineering dropout, Navyanth got addicted to drugs and was alleged to have been an associate of kingpin Calvin Mascarenhas. Navyanth was arrested by the police in August 2017 in connection with the ongoing drugs case that was busted last year.

Navyanth who was out on bail, did not recover and continued to abuse drugs. The police are interrogating him to find out where he had procured the banned drugs.
