5 Burglars Held In Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Five burglars involved in 11 cases of theft and dacoity were arrested on Thursday by the Hyderabad Commissioner's Task Force and 52.5 tolas of gold and 2.5 kg silver worth Rs 20 lakh was recovered from them.

The accused are Mohammed Khaleel, Syed Majeed, Mohammed Sarwar, N. Shiva and Mohammed Mahboob Ali. Following the arrest 16 NBWs pending against Khaleel and Shareef were executed.

Khaleel hailing from Saroornagar was arrested in October last year and was later released. Meanwhile, Majeed was detained under PD Act and released in October last year.

Khaleel, Sarwar and Shiva were handed over to the Chilkalguda police while Majeed and Ali were handed over to the Bahadurpura police station.
