300 School Kids Suffer Eye Injuries During New Year Party 

Vizianagaram: New year revelry nearly turned tragic for 300 school students of Suresh High School in Parvathipuram, on Sunday, when they suffered eye injuries due to the special lighting effects.

According to reports, the school organised a DJ party on its premises on December 31st night. The school children from all the classes took part in the celebrations. Focus lights including laser effects were used indiscriminately ignoring safety norms. This troubled the kids as they developed eye rashes and uncontrolled tears. Many of them could not notice the danger due to the party mood. But when the severity increased on Monday morning. The management was alarmed and tried to hush up the issue. The school staff directed all the students to take rest in their rooms in the hostel without providing them any medical aid.

However, the news got leaked to the media due to which the staff are trying to compromise the issue. Further details are awaited.
