2 HCL Techies, 4 Sex Workers Held At Beauty Parlor

Hyderabad: Two HCL software engineers were among 5 arrested from a brothel being run as a 'spa' in Moosarambagh on Sunday night. Four sex workers were also picked up and sent to the rehabilitation home. The two HCL employees were with the sex workers when the Task Force police raided V S Unisex Beauty Parlour & Spa. The arrested duo, V Prakash (31) and D Kaushik (32), are residents of Joseph Hostel near Hi-Tec City and Janapriya Nagar at Miyapur respectively.

Of the other three arrested men, A Veera Swamy Naidu (36) was the organiser, while K Srikanth (31) and D. Damodar (34) were co-organisers. The four sex workers hail from Andhra Pradesh, Kolkata and Bengaluru. "The men were running a brothel in the name of a beauty parlour & spa and customers contacted them through references. They were making Rs 10,000 per visit," Task Force inspector Ch. Sridhar said. Cops seized Rs 26,000, nine cell phones and other incriminating evidence from the organisers' possession.

Task Force police later handed over the arrested men to Malakpet police. On Monday, the accused techies were booked under the Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act and remanded in judicial custody.
