19-Year-Old Filmmaker Arrested For Theft

Hyderabad: Rahul Dev, a 19-year-old short filmmaker and his two friends were arrested by Malkajgiri police on Monday on charges of theft. Equipment worth Rs2.3 lakh were seized from the accused. The trio were caught on a tip off as they tried to sell off the stolen goods.

Police said that Rahul made money by making short films, but as he ran into debts he planned to steal some valuable along with his two friends. The trio committed thefts in two houses in Kushaiguda and Jawahar nagar police station limits.
