YS Jagan Offers Prayers At Barah Shahid Dargah, Takes Part In Rottela Festival

Nellore: YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday offered special prayers at Bara Shahid Darga here. Party activists and a large number of supporters welcomed YS Jagan at Renigunta airport. Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy and other party leaders were among those who welcomed him. YS Jagan reached Nellore by road from Renigunta.

YS Jagan along with party activists and other leaders offered special prayers at Barah Shahid Dargah. Later he participated in Rottela festival and exchanged rottelu in Swarnala lake here.

People throng BarahShahid Dargah as part of annual Rottela festival . It's estimated that over one lakh people celebrate Rottela festival by exchanging of bread (locally called Rottelu) made of wheat flour in a symbolic exchange of life's pains and pleasures. The fete began on Wednesday and will continue till Sunday.
