AP Teachers’ Federation Wants Their Issues To Be Taken Up In Parliament  

Hyderabad: The president of Andhra Pradesh YSR Teachers’ Federation K Jali Reddy along with the general secretary K Obulapathi on Friday met the YSR Congress Party MPs V Vijay Sai Reddy and Y.V Subba Reddy at the party central office here and made a representation to them urging them to take up the problems faced by the teachers and staff, in the winter session of the Parliament.

Doing away with the CPS and bringing in uniform service rules are the main problems that have not been resolved so far, according to the representation. APYTF urged the MPs to bring these problems faced by the teachers and staff to the notice of the Parliament when it convenes for the winter session from November 16 and also to take them up with the concerned union ministers.

The association also demanded that even those who were employed after November 1, 2004 should also be entitled for pension besides asking the government to take necessary steps to fill the vacant positions of MEOs, Deputy EOs, lecturers and diet lecturers.
