TDP tries to whip up anti-Telangana sentiment

The TDP leaders used the felicitation of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu by APNGO to whip up anti-Telangana sentiment.

Deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh KE Krishna Murthy said that the Telangana people have been exhibiting hatred towards the people of Andhra. He even said: "The people of Telangana were eagerly waiting to throw us out."

“Telangana ministers are criticizing us forgetting that they are ministers now,” said Krishna Murthy. He said the Andhraites made massive contribution to the development of Andhra.

He tried to pit the Andhra against Telangana saying that Andhra Pradesh would be developed to the envy of Telangana.

He heaped praises on Chandrababu and waxed eloquent poetically saying while moon shines for just 12 hours, Chandrababu, whose name means moon in Telugu, would shine for 24 hours.
