Sharmila to restart padayatra soon

YSRCP leader Baaji Reddy on Monday said that YS Sharmila, sister of YSR Cong Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who had undergone surgery for a knee injury sustained during the ‘Maro Praja Prastanam’ padayatra is ready to restart her walkathon. Presently she is taking rest as advised by doctors.

The date will be decided and announced soon, he said.

The party has also decided to highlight the problems being faced by the people and the negligent attitude of the government towards the same.

The party’s organising committee will hold several programmes to show the failure of the state government on many fronts.

On January 9 party workers and leaders will lay seige to electricity sub-stations in all constituencies in the state.

The party’s honorary  president YS Vijayamma will soon launch a two-day ’Deeksha’ on the problems of cotton farmers.

The ‘Jagan kosam janam santhakam ‘signature campaign will be continued till January 10. A review meeting will be held at the party office over the local body elections which start from January 10, Baaji Reddy.
