Congress Blind To Chandrababu’s Corruption: BJP

Vijayawada: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Andhra Pradesh unit President Kanna Lakshmi Narayana accused the state government of misusing central government funds intended for developmental work. Speaking to media at a press conference convened here today, the BJP leader said that Chandrababu was trying to take credit for the developmental activities funded by the Centre.

"Chandrababu, with the help of  Congress party, placed the No Confidence Motion, only to hide his corrupt practices. Why has the Congress turned a blind eye to Chandrababu's corruptrion?" Lakshmi Narayana questioned. After the BJP exposed Chandrababu's corrupt practices, he began attacking BJP leaders.

"Why did Chandrababu accept a special package if he really wanted  Special Category Status (SCS) to the state?" he demanded to know. Although Chandrababu had requested the Centre for Rs 5,000 against the package, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who cares for the welfare of the state, agreed to allocate Rs 16,500 to AP, the BJP President remarked.

"Andhra Pradesh is under the rule of  Janmabhoomi brokers," alleged the BJP leader. Thanking former Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu for providing package to AP, the TDP leaders felicitated him on various occasions, he recalled. Chandrababu had welcomed Union Minister Arun Jaitley's announcement on the special package by convening a press conference dat midnight, he added.
