Paramour Kills Woman For Having Another Man

Khammam: A man suspecting his lover’s fidelity killed a 42-year-old woman, with whom he was having a live-in relationship for the past four years. The deceased has been identified as Jagasani Rupa, a resident of Pakabanda Bazar in Khammam. One Town CI Rahman arrested the accused Gaj Pasha of Mustafanagar on Wednesday.

Rupa's husband Srinivas died five years ago. She then continued their clothes business and lately got married off her only daughter. Over a period of time, she developed relation with Pasha, an auto driver and the duo started living together.

Recently, Rupa purchased a plot near to her area and started its construction. She assigned the construction work to one Prasad. Gradually, the two developed good rapport and this came to the notice of Pasha. Pasha warned Rupa to maintain distance from Prasad suspecting of her moving closely with the latter. Though Rupa said that she maintained only a cordial relation, Pasha never believed her.

On Wednesday night Pasha picked a fight over this with Rupa and the argument flared up till morning. In a fit of rage, he took a wire and strangulated her to death. The neighbors who came to know about the incident informed the police.
