Anupamaa Actors Mourn Madhavi Gogote's Death

Madhavi Gogate, top Hindi TV serial actress who has played mother and Saas roles in popular soaps has passed away. She was 58. Madhavi Gogate played a prominent role in the famous Hindi serial Anupamaa in which she appeared as Rupali Ganguly's ( Anupamaa) mother. 

As per reports, the actress had tested positive for Covid 19 a few days ago. The veteran actress was admitted to the hospital to treat her Covid infection. Her health deteriorated thereafter, and she breathed her last on Sunday noon. Rupali Ganguly, Gogate's former co-star, said on her social media account, "So much left unsaid." Madhaviji Sadgati." Rupali also re-posted several of her Anupamaa stills with Gogate.

Gogate passed away in Mumbai's Seven Hills Hospital. Madhavi has acted in several films and television series. Her breakthrough came in the Marathi film Ghanchakkar, in which she starred alongside Ashok Saraf. Her most popular plays were Bhramacha Bhopala and Gela Madhav Kunikade. Tuza Maza Jamtay was her first Marathi television appearance. Madhavi has also appeared in a number of Hindi television programmes, including Koi Apna Sa, Aisa Kabhi Socha Na Tha, and Kahin Toh Hoga.
