How to Apply For Official Document for COVID Death ODCD at Mee Seva - Sakshi Post

In Telangana, how can you apply for a COVID ex-gratia?

The applicants must receive an ODCD from Mee-Sevas by providing the deceased's information.

The Telangana government has provided rules for acquiring the official document for COVID-19 death and receiving the Rs. 50,000 exgratia for a kin's death caused by the infectious condition.

A district-level COVID-19 death ascertaining Committee (CDAC) will be established, with the District Collector as chairman, the district medical and health officer (member-convener), and the superintendent of the District headquarter hospital as members.

Applicants must get an ODCD by submitting the deceased's data, including the death certificate, to Mee-sevas (e-governance centres).

If accessible, they must attach a copy of the COVID-19 positive test report. They can submit the medical certificate of the cause of death (MCCD) if it is not accessible, stating that the death was caused by the COVID-19 infection.

"If they don't have the two certificates, the applicant can upload other investigative reports or any other document to establish that the death occurred due to COVID-19," a government order said.
