AP CID Warns Trolls, Vows Legal Action

With the rise of instances of social media trolls and online abuses, AP Crime Investigation Department (CID) has come forward to address it. AP CID said it is deeply concerned about the inappropriate posts on social media and has issued a serious warning to those who are resorting to personal abuses online using anonymous and fake identity. 

AP CID chief Sanjay called for strict action. He cautioned that those who are breaking law will be seriously punished. 

Numerous inappropriate posts targeting the Chief Minister and his family members, often using nicknames, have emerged on social media, and fake posts are also being circulated about High Court Judges. It is crucial to understand that fake accounts can be traced and caught easily. Both the individuals behind these fake accounts and their accomplices will be subject to legal action. Sanjay stressed the CID's focus on addressing inappropriate comments directed at a lady Judge online.

Speaking at a media conference in Vijayawada on Wednesday, AP CID Chief Sanjay declared that strict measures would be taken against those who post indecent content targeting women and government ministers. The CID is actively monitoring posts concerning opposition leaders on social media.

The misuse of social media is a growing concern, and the authorities are committed to taking action against those who violate its responsible use. Sanjay also emphasized the importance of promoting positive and responsible social media use, stating that awareness campaigns on this issue are in place. He also said that abuses against opposition leaders are also probed and action will be taken against the culprits.
