Andhra CM Pays Tributes to Pingali Venkayya

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy paid his tributes to Pingali Venkayya, the person who designed our National flag. Known as the flagman of India, Pingali Venkayya was a freedom fighter who was the designer of the Indian Tricolor. Born in Bhatlapenumarru of Machilipatnam, Pingali Venkayya adhered to Mahatma Gandhi's Principles.

On the birth anniversary of Pingali Venkayya, Andhra CM YS Jagan took to twitter to remember the designer of National Flag. He said that Pingali Venkayya made Telugus proud across the country by designing India's National Flag. He also added that the country would never forget Pingali Venkayya's contribution to the country as a freedom fighter.
