Congress IT Head Insults PM Modi on Twitter Again

Divya Spandana Ramya has made it something of a habit to rile, well just about anyone who cares to read her tweets. Normally, it wouldn't matter. After all, people would say, Divya Spandana kaun? But then, she handles the social media and digital communications for the Congress party and therefore, the expectation of some grace and responsibility.
Divya Spandana tweeted likening PM Narendra Modi to a bird dropping while referring to a picture of the PM standing next to the giant statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Twitterati were quick to slam the Congress IT head for her 'distasteful' tweet. Among them were NDTV journalist Nidhi Razdan and senior journalist, Shekhar Gupta.
And the right political discourse is having a gossip column masquerading as ‘juicy information’ in your publication- clearly setting high standards! https://t.co/tfpOH5eILg — Divya Spandana/Ramya (@divyaspandana) November 1, 2018 Not my circus, not my monkeys. https://t.co/ANUANEt6oZ — Divya Spandana/Ramya (@divyaspandana) November 1, 2018
She was reminded that she represents a political party with an official designation, but Divya Spandana seemed unrepentant.

Meanwhile, the BJP reacted in a relatively less aggressive manner. It said:
Ummm no, it is the values of the Congress that are dropping. — BJP (@BJP4India) November 1, 2018
Historical disdain for Sardar Patel + Pathological dislike for @narendramodi = Such language.
Clearly, @RahulGandhi’s politics of 'love'! https://t.co/1TPCY7Fs4d
