Kukunoorpally SI’s Wife Makes Sensational Comments, Demands Probe To Be As Fast As Sireesha’s Case

Yadadri: Wife of sub-inspector T. Prabhakar Reddy made some sensational comments on Tuesday when she alleged that the case of her husband is being watered down by the Telangana police. Speaking to media persons here, Rachana demanded the authorities to probe the case as fast as that of beautician Sireesha's suicide case.

Prabhakar Reddy committed suicide by shooting himself with his service revolver on June 14 at Kukunoorpally police station on June 14. The incident occurred a day after Sireesha was found dead under mysterious condition at RJ Photo Studio in Hyderabad.

Rachana expressed her anguish saying that her husband could not even get honour that a common man gets in death. She expressed apprehensions that she might not get any benefits following her husband's death since it was a suicide and that the service of Prabhakar Reddy was too short. She said that she would meet Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) over the issue.

Meanwhile, the police officials, during the course of the investigation, stated that the sub-inspector had committed suicide after Sireesha had turned down his sexual advances when they met on June 13.

However, Rachana refuted the claim and alleged that her husband was murdered by the Siddipet police officials on the issue of bribes. Deliberate attempt is being made by the senior cops to cover up the murder by showing it as an extra-marital affair, she alleged.
