KTR Sells Ice Cream For Rs5 Lakh

Hyderabad: Telangana IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao worked as a 'coolie' on Friday and earned in lakhs. As part of the ‘Gulaabi Cooli Dinalu’ the minister prepared ice cream at a parlour in Kompally. The ice cream was bought by MP Malla Reddy at a whopping price of Rs 5 lakh and another ice cream was purchased by a local TRS leader Srinivas Reddy for Rs1 lakh.

Similarly, KTR worked as an engineer at a construction site at Quthbullapur. The minister was paid Rs7.30 lakh for the work. MP Malla Reddy, Balka Suman, G. Vivekanand, Shambir Raju participated along with KTR.

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said that ‘Gulaabi Cooli Dinalu'’ will be celebrated from April 14 to 20 and the money earned by TRS leaders will be used to fund the expenses of the annual convention which will be held on April 21 for party plenary, then followed by a public meeting at Warangal on April 27.
