Indian Man Steals Cash, Goods From Dubai Supermarket

Dubai: A 22-year-old Indian worker has pleaded guilty to charges of theft at a local supermarket.
As per reports, the man working as a painter sneaked into a supermarket in Hor Al Anz locality on October 11 and hid there until it closed to steal cash and goods worth USD 8,167 (Dh30,000).
The man pleaded guilty in the Court of First Instance to the charges and said he committed the theft using sharp tools in which the property was damaged. Court records showed that he had an accomplice who is still at large.

The police seized the mobile recharge cards from the accused's place and found money wiring receipts and (USD 592) Dh2,175 in cash.
